A new bag and a new shirt!

Hey guys! How are you? I've been to shopping yesterday and today and I am so excited! I have bought something that I wanted for a long time: an amazing brown bag and a pretty and lovely shirt. So yesterday I bought this bag from Stradivarius (soon I will put more pictures). I had seen it in the store last week or so, but then I did not have enough money on me and although I liked I was not firmly convinced that I want to buy that bag. After three days I went again and saw it at Stradivarius. Then I realized that I really need to buy that amazing and practical bag! It fits perfectly with my brown jacket from Pull and Bear (which I bought last summer / was on sale!) and with my brown boots from H & M (which I bought 4 months ago!).

Yesterday evening I went to Pull&Bear to buy a shirt and I found what I wanted (and it was on sale and it was a color that I did not have in the closet) but they did not have size and only M and L. When I got home I looked on their website so I could find stores with the desired size. In the morning I went to a mall, I tried the shirt to make sure that it looks perfect on me and I bought it. I'm so happy!

After so much time

God... I (Gabriela) feel like I haven't talk with you guys for such a long time! I actually forgot that I had this blog because I was and I still am (now I am trying to have some free time) busy because I have to study hard for my last year at the university. I miss all my blogging friends so much! And I also miss blogging. I think this is how I have remembered about my fashion blog.
Right now I am listening some jazz and I am looking to some old pictures. I have so many things to talk with you!
1. Chris and I have not seen because of my full program
2. We haven't spent the New Year's Eve as we have proposed
3. Chris and I had a break up
4. My laptop broke down and a few days ago I heared that the hard disk drive is broken and the people from the computer service will replace it, but I will lose everything I have in my computer (meaning and pictures - something enormously important to me). So now I have to call all my friends and ask them to send me pictures they have with me in their computer.
5. The good news is that I have almost all the pictures with me in my boyfriend's computer. I would like to share with you some old picture that I found them (some of them are made a year ago)
6. Now me and Chris are trying to work things out a little and to mantain the contact and the relationship we used to have.
7. I am thinking... Should I cut my hair again? I want so much to have long hair and I am so happy because my hair started to grow, but when I look at those pictures I started to ask myself: What should I do?

"Am o idee..." / "I have an idea..."

Friday I was at the gala premiere of the film "I have an idea ...", a film banned in the Golden Age. After 30 years (10 years under communism and 20 years under capitalism) at Scala cinema after awarding, the next day the comedy "I have an idea" was banned.  Andrew's best friend, Dany received two invitations from the director of the film so I was lucky to go.

Friday night the film returned at the same cinema as in the '80s. Besides young romanian film admirers,  in the cinema hall were the director of the film - Master AL.G. Croitoru who received a diploma and a gold medal for his career, and some of the main actors who are alive such as Rodica Popescu Bitănescu, Radu Gheorghe, Vasilica Tastaman, Anda Caropol, Camelia Zorlescu that socireceived diplomas for their work.

The film was a true comedy that should have not been prohibited (didn't have the same opinion those who said the film militates against the development multilaterally developed socialist society and to shave long hall and the two communist leaders who lived back then and the audience laughs so much in the room. even about the two communist leaders who lived back then; which is not true).

It was a wonderful night full of great people because we stayed close to the  film director in the cinema hall so we could see and hear very well the director and we stood a few feet away from the actors who went on scene because we stood on the first row. At the end we had at the buffet red and white wine and a gorgeous time.

Sherwani or normal peel?

Does the size of the material is socially influenced only by the timing and local geo-characteristics? Why most of modern European men have forgotten the functions and aesthetics of the long sleeves, peel and pants? In modern India, Pakistan and many other countries such long wears have a particular name, being used sometimes more than on a traditional formal meet-up (weddings, baptism, funerals etc.). It's still a mark of ethnicity in some places.

Today we will have a look at some well known traditional male dresses, worn in India and neighbourhoods. Historically, men's clothing has evolved from simple Langotas and loincloths to cover the body to elaborate costumes not only used in daily wear but also on festive occasions as well as rituals and dance performances. In urban areas, western clothing is common and uniformly worn by people of all strata. India also has a great diversity in terms of weaves, fibers, colors and material of clothing. Color codes are followed in clothing based on the religion and ritual concerned.

Sherwani is a long coat-like garment worn in South Asia, very similar to an Achkan or doublet, is notably known as Pakistan's national dress and is traditionally associated with the Muslim aristocracy of the northern Indian subcontinent.

The lungi, also known as a sarong, is a traditional garment worn around the waist in Indonesia, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, Brunei, Malaysia, Singapore, the Horn of Africa and the southern Arabian Peninsula. It is particularly popular in regions where the heat and humidity create an unpleasant climate for trousers.

A kurta is a traditional item of clothing worn in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Nepal, India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. It is a loose shirt falling either just above or somewhere below the knees of the wearer, and is worn by both men and women. They were traditionally worn with loose-fitting paijama (kurta-paijama), loose-fitting salwars, semi-tight (loose from the waist to the knees, and tight from the calves to the ankles churidars, or wrapped-around dhotis; but are now also worn with jeans. Kurtas are worn both as casual everyday wear and as formal dress.

The dhoti, also known as pancha, panche or veshti is the traditional men's garment in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. It is a rectangular piece of unstitched cloth, usually around 4.5 metres long, wrapped around the waist and the legs and knotted at the waist.
Veshti wearers are predominant in the states of Tamilnadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Maharastra, Karnataka, Bihar, West Bengal, and Orissa. In the northern parts of Gujarat and southern parts of Rajasthan the Pancha is worn with a short kurta called kediya on top. In both north and south India, notably Bihar, West Bengal, and parts Sri Lanka the garment is worn with a kurta on top, the combination known simply as dhoti kurta. In Tamil Nadu, it is worn with a sattai (shirt). It is worn with chokka (shirt) or jubba (a local version of kurta) in Andhra Pradesh. The lungi is a similar piece of cloth worn in a similar manner.

Sand, seaside, tan and fashion

Hello there my fashion friends! How are you? We're sorry that we've been busy lately, but now we're back and we're glad! In this post I (Gabriela) want to share two outfits that I dressed when I was at the seaside for a couple of days.
The weather was fantastic, the waves were so high, the beach was full of people, but I had an amazing time! My and my boyfriend had a lot of fun because we spent many hours in the water, we got tanned (you can see especially in the last two pictures), we walked on the beach and around the resort, we took pictures, we spent evening at restaurants and on our last night we had dinner on the beach which was very romantic. We didn't had candles and violins, but we had the sound of the waves and, spaghetti and two bottles of beer - DAB and ZIFFER. For dessert we had waffles with lemon cream. Thank you so much for reading this and hope you'll enjoy the photos. Kisses!

Searching cardigan and sweater from ZARA, finding bolero and blazer from H&M!

Hello! How are you fashion lovers? A couple of days ago I (Gabriela) went to Zara to buy a cardigan and a sweater that I've seen on sale on the website, but unfortunately I was disappointed that I have not found what I had seen on the website. I wanted to go home, but I thought to pass to H & M. And it was a good idea! I bought one bolero and one blazer, size 38 (EUR) / 8 (U.S.) at incredible prices!

The bolero below cost 55.27 euros and I bought it with 6,69 euros!

The blazer below cost 35.92 euros and I bought it with 6.69 euros!

When I saw the brocade bolero from H & M Conscious Collection 2012 on sale I was speechless. It was funny that the lady at the cash register asked a colleague to confirm the price (6.69 euros) because she couldn't believe.  It's very beautiful and so chic! I love it so much and I was lucky because they had only two boleros: one was size 38 (EUR) and the other size 40 (EUR)! I'm glad I grabbed this piece of clothing (50% acetate, 50% polyester)!
Also I wanted so much to buy a new black blazer and when I saw it at H & M was like love at first sight. Again I was lucky because it was the only blazer left and with size 38 (EUR). I like the design, the buttons and the collar (65% polyester, 32% viscose, 3% elastane).
I like the materials and details of clothing and I look forward to cool weather to wear them + I like the amazing price that the clothing had. Super happy, happy!
